The COD for instance is one of the most important sum parameters in water analysis. It is considered as a reference for the organic load of waste water, both in the industrial and municipal sector. In General, laboratory Methods are based on th euse of different reagents often causing secondary pollution. Moreover, laboratory analyses are more time consuming than online methods. Thus, LAR developed its high temperature method at 1,200°C further and offers a chemical free COD Analysis that is particularly environmentally friendly.

The Integrated Water Governance Support System (iWaGSS) is the development and practical pilot implementation of an innovative water governance system basing on new technologies and tools for mitigating water stress and for a sustainable management of the water resources in the South African pilot region Phalaborwa as well as in other regions with overstressed water resources in Africa and worldwide.

  • Toxicity Analyzer for Waste Water Treatment Plants

     

    LAR's toxicity analyzer NitriTox continually monitors water for toxic pollutants. Potential toxins in water are determined through the reaction of highly sensitive bacteria. The measurements follow at intervals of less than 5 minutes. Thus, operators can easily introduce countermeasures to protect their treatment plant and processes.
